Double Trouble is starting off with a positive reputation.
I Got Egged

I have a 99 Expedition EB. The color is black with gold trim.
Anyway I have been egged twice in the past week. The frist time they just missed the truck but hit my motorhome, the second time they got a good hit on the Expedition all the way down the passenger side.
I have washed it all off and did not see any damage but it was late and dark outside the thing is that the egg was on the truck all day in the sun before my wife noticed it.
My question is what can I do if I find any damage to the paint to night when I get home and look at it again.
I had just waxed the truck about 3 weeks ago so I was hoping that would help so I call Mequiars and they told me that there wax may delay the effects but would not stop it form eating into the th eclear coat and paint if the egg was on there for a long time.
Any info or help be great.
Thanks

I'd suggest having your wife pick up a can of wd40 and spraying it immediately. If it eats through the paint you could try touching it up, but your probably looking a atleast repainting that section for it to look good.

If you had just waxed the truck, and it was only on thier for a day before you washed it off I think you will be fine.

Update on the egg.
It has hatched and turned into a spider webb!!!!

I was able to get a good look at it last night after washing it twice, using Body Scrub, Paint Polish followed by a new coat of wax and there is still a spot about the size of a quarter that has a spider webb crack look to it and another spot the size of a dime that has an orange peel look.
I will keep an eye on it and post if it gets worse.
Thanks for the replys
