Truck Caps

Has anyone purchased a truck cap for an 08 F250 crew cab with a 6 3/4 bed? If so what brand, price, any pics? Thanks for the help

I checked last month on one for mine but found that if you have the tailgate step the glass will not close. Even had them set it on my P/U. Lines all lined up but the glass door will not close because the tailgate step was too wide. They called the manufacture and they didn't know when. I have since noticed GM tail gates and it looks like the top of their gates are as wide as the Ford's.

It may be, but it doesnt have a step in it, and I think that is where the problem lies.

I believe it was "ARE". Nice cap, retail was over 2K. In the past all I ever had was Leer. I just called the Leer dealer and they said a cap was now available to fit the tailgate step models. Takes 4 weeks once you order and is supposed to be as good as the ARE. Oh yea the model #is 100XQ and is 2K.

That's a good looking cap. I'll check out leer's website. Thanks for the info.
