Same basics need to be covered with the 6.4 that you would cover with the 7.3 & 6.0? Down to one micron and engine at least 160 degrees? If money was no object (I don't object to it...I just don't have enough) I walk into my local Ford dealer and order exactly what I want...but when you consider the price tag would be close to what I paid for my home...cough, cough....I think I'll stick with a slightly used truck and save a couple of beans.

Zhilton, I may have stated that in a confusing tone. Veggie in this truck...no good without serious mods and down to 4 micron minimum. Anything higher will plug the 4 micron stock filters.
Raw bio is bad....second stage biodiesel ran through a 5 then a 1 micron is great on these trucks
Mexico fuel is pure high sulfer garbage and not very clean...ulsd only alternative to getting stuck in Mexico. I bet if any 08 are stolen and drove down there they will just be road side displays.

I think I didn't post my question clear enough...what I'm trying to ask is with similar modifications like you would do to the 7.3 or 6.0 (like a kit from vegistroke), very clean wvo (1-3 micron) and a "at operating temperature motor"...will the 6.4 function on the stuff? I know that vegistroke doesn't yet have a kit listed for the 6.4, but I'm curious about he new motor. And since the orginal question was about bio (not wvo), does anyone know what kind of strange things the bio might be doing to the PM?
