I didnt take a good look at the suspension but for frame of reference its a highboy with rockwells less than $80,000.
The trade sounds like a deal. Why exactly is he wanting to trade a nice F150 for a 250 parts truck with a rusted out frame and no X case? Id jump on that before he thinks about it too long
Look at the last pic. It looks like the lift block on the passenger side is about to kick out. I like the 1/2" plate spacers. I think its for tuning the suspension. Maybe for loading up the right rear tire for better traction off the line. Im sure the 390 screams! Anyone with common sense and a decent welder would fix that. Still not so bad for the price
Um hes not all that quick. He said he can get another transfer. This is the guy i traded steel wheels with 33s for alum wheels with 38s. get the picture lol. I might just do it. I wanna put my 6" lift on it and run 8 lug outers for my 78. then i can use my D60 on the crew cab.
i believe narrow as in early bronco/bronco II/ranger kind of narrow.
hey heavy equipment is a prime source for offroad parts... they were built and designed for the utmost rugged terrain use and longevity!!! when was the last time you heard of someone breaking an axleshaft on a ditchwitch? i know its happened but i seriously doubt very often!

One of our electricians broke a front 60 axle in his vermeer
I say get the axles out of an old school lull....you know, front rear steer, double ended hydro rams already mounted,,,planetary hubs, cardan jointed axle shafts...huge reduction ratios!!! driveline brake and lockers already there
