the truck already has 6" of spring lift, but i want to combine it with SKY's rear shackle flip and front shackle reversal. the rear looks simple enough, but the front is where im getting a litle confused. i know im gonna have to get like foot long+ shocks and brake lines, but should i go right to the crossover steering system they offer, or can i get a 12" drop pitman arm (that doesnt even really sound safe). for the next question, please refer to the picture.
see that black plate sitting in the foreground? i dunno what its called, but i already have one on my truck. am i going to have to get a custom one made? can they do it? or will the reversal get rid of what i have and utilize that one? you guys seem to swear by these things, so i hope i can get some good answers. does anyone have any pics of this set up on a 92-96 truck? or any truck for that matter, i wanna see what it looks like under a truck. thanks.

Well, typically I swear by fabricating your own... but that is almost as good. Plate in the picture is for the trac bar. Your best bet is to relocate the mounting point for the trac bar to the frame and get a new trac bar. You already have a form of crossover, its just your drag link attaches to the tierod instead of the knuckle. However, you cant use something like the kit they offer due to your balljoint style D60. For the pitman arm, I would get a 4 or 6" drop pitman arm and then get a new longer tie rod. That way you will minimize your drag link angle.
You will need new shocks, new draglink, and new tracbar set up...
I have the 3" Sky reversal kit. I thought about fabbing my own, but after seeing the Sky kit firsthand, I was very impressed with the welds and bends, etc! I don't even use a tracbar, but you'll definately need to do the crossover steering. I have a few pics of the kit installed here: http://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gall...&albumid=20562
Let me know if you need other pics. ~Dave
Yeah, you wont need a trac bar to stabilize the axle once the shackles are on the rear of the leaf packs... forgot about that.
dwo, I'm guessing you swapped a D60 into your F250? and I saw it was kingpin... The balljoint style would require that he get a custom knuckle machined in order to do his properly, he can't just bolt on a steering arm though like you can on a kingpin axle.
RawPower, I did swap in a kingpin, but there are a few off road companies on the Net that will gladly sell an aftermarket knuckle for big $$$
Yeah that is true.. but for him I think the most economical solution is a drop pitman arm and new draglink. Cody had a new custom knuckle fabbed for his 1995PSD on 49 IROKs by a local shop for like $450 IIRC... maybe he will chime in here.
