Intercooler Question...

I've heard that you can reroute the intercooler hoses with the air flow sensor and the outcome is a really cool sound on decel. Does anybody know hoe to do this? Are they any kits out? Here's a clip I got off of youtube for an example. yesI know its a Turbo but it should have the same effect on a Supercharger.

Rerouting the IC hoses to change the sound of your s/c (or engine) makes no sense. Regardless, no matter how you reroute the hoses, it will not significantly change the sound of your engine or s/c, and it certainly won't make it sound like a blow off valve.

Nope.

There are better heat exchangers, radiators, and transmission coolers. But the OEM intercoolers located under the S/C are the only ones available for our Lightnings.

It sounds like you're a good canidate for a water injection system. You can cool the air charge significantly without having to replace or remove the intercooler. I'd suggest you take a look at our website to get an idea of how our systems work.

Our systems can be installed in about an hour (the other systems out there take about 4 - 6 hours). In addition, if you're at least intermediately familiar with working on your own vehicles you could install this system yourself.

Our system is currently installed on a car that is going to be running out at Bonneville this month. This car holds the record for the world's fastest production car... 303MPH!!! We are expecting it to break it's own record again this year. You can see the car here: http://helipowerservice.com/_wsn/page5.html

If you have any questions feel free to send us a pm or give us a phone call.
