fuel relay--how to get power to?

We did a carb swap to my buddys ranger and now we can't get the fuel pump to come on. To get it on i guess we are going to power the fuel relay. Where is it and will this work.

If you put a carb on a ranger that was fuel injected you don't want to run the electric fuel pump carbs are made to handle about 5 -7 lbs of fuel pressure the electric will make between 40-60 psi. The needle and seat on a carb won't hold that kinda of pressure. you will have to go with either a mechanical pump or a low pressure electric or you might be able to find a regulator for the factory pump.

Besides, why on earth would you want to swap to a carb? All the components for fuel injection are present and the automakers went to fuel injection for a reason.
