I stumbled on a new project! It's a 54 F100 with most everything there, It has a 351W, Automatic trans, Disc brake conversion on the front and a 9 inch late model rearend. The body is in good shape with a few small bondo spots and no tailgate, Overall its not bad. The 351 hasn't been started in two years so i'm going to try to get it started in the next week or so. I even got the trailer in the deal too!
That's sweet, Wiz! Now you know why you left FL for the wide open spaces of SC. I can't wait to get up there and start on projects like that. Looking forward to more pics.

Sweet deal Wiz, couldn't stay away from the addiction told the wife I was only checking on email and saw what you posted. Good luck with the project completion, if you need someone to help swing a wrench and bring some good ole Canadian 8% beer let me know.
BTW we arrived safe and sound all the while rolling 86mph from SC to Canada, even had a few Porsche, Corvettes try to hang for awhile, the funniest was some guy in the Pocono's of PA in a little green Geo Metro belching smoke trying to go around us at 86.5mph (I believe his top speed) and my son just waved and said kick it dad, so we did and left him in some more smoke albeit Diesel smoke .
In any case I foresee much blood sweat and $$$$ in your future, enjoy it.
later

Thanks guys! I had to put a new deck on the trailer(truck wheels fell through it) but thats all done. I'll take more pics tomorrow and put them in my gallery then i got to start looking up parts resources.
Anybody know of any parts resources around here? Also the guy i got the truck from said something about a big swap meet in Charlotte but i haven't found anything on it anybody know? Trigger?
I know by now you have heard of our weekly publication of the "I Wanna".
It covers the upstate and Southern N.C.
It has ads of parts for sale and usually the price and the phone number.
It comes out new every Thursday.
Tell me what y'all are hunting and I can probably get you to where you need to be in Ware Shoals....been there a time or two along with having several buddies from work holed up down there for about 40yrs they know just about everybody down there.
Cheers
Marc

Mikes Truck Salvage.
Brissy Rock Road
Ware Shoals SC.
Mapquest don't list it or that address.
I know some about Ware Shoals but not where that road is.
10 years ago I could tell you where every VW was in that town.
I'm putting my list together as i take it apart, Took the bed and runnings boards off yesterday.......What a mess. So far every wire connection in it is striped ,Twisted together and taped with blue painters tape.
