For it to look cheap with gaps all around. There are a lot of good reasons not to lift the bed of a work truck.
You know, bodylifts on 1996 and up vehicles are not a good idea. For one thing, nothing has extra slack including the engine and computer harness, the brake lines, etc. It is not like a 70s truck where you have an extra foot of harness to play with when working on the truck.
Plus, depending where it is located (I don't know for 2000+ Fords) you can end up defeating the airbag system.
imo, If you are going to go with a bodylift, build it yourself out of black poly by making a big bushing. Then again ... a five inch poly bushing doesn't sound that great either.
If you want to lift the body, I suggest building new mounts and lift the body that way instead of stacking it on stilts.
