Question V-10 turbo?

O.K. I've done a lot of research and haven't really been able to find what i'm looking for. I would like to supercharge my 00 v-10, but I've heard a few guys mention turbos. I've read where turbos are more efficent and have the potential to put out more power. What are your thoughts? Is it possible to do both? Maybe a stupid question to some of you out there, but I'm not a mechanic or do I pretend to be. Thanks.

i dont know about having both but you would have to get everything custom for the turbo on the v-10 but vortech makes a centrifugal supercharger for the v-10 it can be yours for a mesally 7k

yes you can do both called a compound setup usually found on diesels because of the amount of boost they can put out. i would suggest going with a bolt on kit if your not to mechanicaly inclined as with a custom setup many things can go wrong. as far as price you can build a turbo setup for 7k if you search around for turbos and can fab everything urself. both have advantages and disadvantages so its more what do you wanna do with this truck and how easy do you want it to be is the question.
