how do I clean woven vinyl seats?

Hi again,

Today's project was (still is) to clean out the interior of my truck. It's a '93 and the front seat is that woven vinyl stuff - I think Ford calls it "Comfort-Weave" or similar? Anyway, how the heck do I clean it? Previous owner had both kids and dogs, tons of soda spills etc. and to make matters worse, the vinyl appears to actually catch and hold dog hair! Any tips for a quick clean-up? My usual detailing regimen is vacuuming followed by a terry cloth rag and Murphy's Oil Soap, but against this mess it does nothing. Am I going to have to pick each individual dog hair by hand?

thanks,

nate

One product that seems to work is simple green. Just spray it on and let it set for a minute then rub with a clean white cloth. If that doesn't work spray again use a clean scrub brush then wipe with clean cloth. Should work if it isn't a extreme stain. I use it one my door speaker covers where our shoes make marks getting in.
