A lot of 4 and 5 points around too. We only count one side here as I think you guys do. Seen some big 6X and an 8X taken in the last few years. Now they where a couple of really nice racks. I generally like to stay with the smaller ones as they are better eating. And even though I could drop a big one it is always to far away (like in the bottom of a hole) For me to ever get out by my self.

Back near my dads house, there was this huge 4x. Man you guys would not believe how huge that rack was. First time I seen it I thought it was a smaller elk lol.

once upon a time, lol when we were moving to Quesnel from Fort St John we went through Hudsons Hope (80km West by Southwest of FSJ, 90km north of Chetwynd) We stopped at every heard of deer we saw...we counted 364 deer in the fields, that I figure we were within at least 50 give or take of the actual number. All private land.

The Sitka Black Tail here isn't very big bodied. But I have seen 6 and 8X go 250 pounds. But most 3X will only go around 150. Thats guts and feathers.

The big one are pretty cagey When they stat polishing of the velvet. Generally have to go up in the alpine After them. And I just can't go up the mountain right now. But that may change soon I hope. By the time they come down for the rut they are pretty stinky. Can't eat en so tourist just shot the for the Rack.
