302 + 351w heads

I have a new question will 351w heads work on my 1973 302 or will i lose alot of compresion. A freind of mine gave me what was left of a 351w and i am having valve problems and i dont have the money to rebuild the heads that is whay i am asking. Thanks for any help.

302 + 351w heads

Would not swear to it but I think you can. You will have to have longer pushrods and the 351 uses a 1/2 inch bolt and the 302 a smaller. You will need a adapter bolt to make it work.
