Your gonna get a big bang through the exhaust when all that unburned fuel ignites. The rev limiter is a must if you miss a shift but stay off the chip if you can.

It's potentially a very dangerous situation for your pistons at a minimum. Nitrious flowing in without fuel is definately bad.

Install an aftermarket rev limiter and a relay, and use that relay to cut off the nitrious at the same RPM, or a "hair" before.

Then everything cuts off rather than just the fuel.

or, edit the EEC data tables and increase the rev limiter value.

no eec, using MSD ignition with 'chip' style rev limiter. Im pretty sure it just cuts out spark. No real way to cut out the fuel it's on a manual fuel pump.

The rev limiter is for controlling engine rpm. To control nitrous flow you can install a RPM window switch, this allows the nitrous system to activate only when you reach a pre-selected rpm and shuts it off at your other selection, it will wire right into your MSD system.

Sounds perfect, lets you keep your eyes on the road instead of glued to the tach
