My 1990 F-150 XLT
She just got back from the painters, which is my first step in getting her back in shape. Ive had her since day one and the 113,000 miles are all mine. My plan is to keep her stock with a few new flashes of chrome here and there.

Very nice...
Reminds me of my cousin...
She drove a truck just like that (same color and style) with a 351 and 5 spd and put about 110k on it...she had it from about 60k to 150k...
I've got about 200k on her engine and tranny now....but the truck was almost completely stripped and sent to the scrap yard.

I'm a firm believer in truck pictures including a hot little lady even when ones not available, I photoshopped her in there . If my wife ever sees that pic I'll probably be eating out a few days.
Thanks for the kind words you all.

I used to mix paint years ago & many years before that...I always like'd the single stage urethane by PPG/Ditzler....I just like the entire process for a total repaint.......of course base/clear is the choice for most accident repairs.....as a final note...shame on you for cropping that chick into your picture....roflmao

I've shot a fair amount of PPG Concept and like it.
But here is my complaint. Every few months when I would go back to the store to buy some more there was a price increase.
Like 4 or 5 price increases a year. Finally I asked the guy behind the counter if he got 4 cost of living increases each year, because I sure don't.
I quit buying from them, from then on.
I've been using Awlgrip on the boat's I've been doing. So I decided to use it on my truck.

Anyone ever done the roll-on paint job ..... check out this thread http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t196565.html ... then check out the moparts links and other links toward the end ..... That Charger is Sweet for the guy who started the "Movement" his name is 69chargeryeehaa on the Moparts site ..... and he has a New Beetle same color and model as mine in the background of one of his air cooled Bug paintjob pix.

Damn photochoppers!!! I wish I could I do that!!!! My wife would kick my *** out if'n I tried that!
Came out plenty shiny!!!! I would never pay for a paint job! I would cry like I did when my first dog got killed as soon I scratched it and would likely take the pumpgun from behind the seat as soon as I seen a door nick in a parking lot!

My starting list:
P/S upgrade
vacuum hoses replaced
new exhaust

I'm trying to do it a little at a time not to break the bank, its hard though seeing how good she looks. Anyone know which one of our sponsors has window motors and door lock actuaters? Passenger side need both.
