Cool pics Matt! I've probably driven three out of the four combines you have in the pics over the years. I've never been on a New Holland. Now, show us the trucks that hauled the grain. Any old Fords there?

How'd you guys do this year?

My in-laws SW of Wichita were only able to cut about 15%. To wet to cut the rest and it's down and sprouting. Said last night disease is in most of it. Only thing they think they will be able to do is just burn it off.

cool. I just got back from Western Kansas helping Dad cut wheat. Averaged 79.7 bushel per acre (dryland!). I grew up custom harvesting with my Dad and Grandpa from Oklahoma to North Dakota.

dlburch, I had a friend that was a wheatie for a number of years back in the late 70's and early 80's. His dad had been a custom harvester for years and years before that. They always ran Masseys. When I farmed we used JD's.

Welcome to the KS chapter. Sounds like you did well with harvest this year.

Have a seat and through another peice of wood on the fire. Have a cup of Joe or a taste of sippin whiskey and visit. We have some great folks in the KS chapter.
