99 Expedition EB Engine

I have a question, I have 99 EB Expedition, made in 6/99 that obviously has the 5.4. The owners manual claims the 5.4 makes 235hp and 325ft/lbs of torque, but every website that I have checked claims that in 1999, the 5.4 made 260hp and 345ft/lbs of torque. Anyone have any ideas? Its not quite running right at the moment and feels pretty weak, especially while towing the 5200lb boat up any hill, but I was wondering if it has 260 or 235hp. Thanks

In 1999 they started putting performance enhanced heads in the Expys. You should have these heads so maybe your manual is just a bit dated. What is its publish date?

Yeah I just checked and the owners manual was printed in october of 1998. So, it's mostlikely an error in the manual? Thanks by the way

If it's above 75 degrees and there's even a hint of humidity in the air, mine feels like it's trying to pull a house...plus mine is chipped and has a K&N filter.

The Ford Fleet web site says my '99 4.6L makes 240hp. Put your VIN in and see what it says....
