97 F350 PSD CC dually ?s
I will try and write down all answers so I won't repeat any in the future, I'll start with basic beginner ?s
-I looked at rear tires and saw 1 valve stem, is that for both tires?
-Also the valve stem is pointing in towards the tire, that looks like it will be hard to check the pressure.
-The auto tranny was rebuilt 12K miles ago. the first two shifts are crisp, the 3rd shift is kind of smooth and the last seems to slip a little. I might not be describing this exactly right. I have never driven these trucks and don't really know how they should shift. I probably need to get someone who knows these trucks tannys and let them drive it and see what they think?
-I will show a pic but looks as if I should go ahead and replace the battery cables because a couple of the ends where they attach to the terminal are pretty rough. Where to buy this and is it hard?
Thats all for now, let me kow if I get to irritating guys---and gals if there are any.

You can't get irritating as long as it is about the PSD. Mine is a manual but I believe the shifts are a little sloppy unless they have mods. That is the reason I bought a manual, I didn't like the shifts.
You can get an air chuck that has two connections on it and makes it easier. One you pull on to air and the other you push on to air.

Battery cables from baz's website
Replacing Positive Battery Cable
My positive battery cable needs replacing. I called Ford and they told me $103.50, my jaw dropped. None of the parts stores carry them. I called International and they said they would try to make one up for me. Does anyone know of an easier or cheaper way to fix my cables? The insulation (about 2" from the terminal) is discolored on both cables (the one to the other battery and one to the starter). Under the insulation is all corroded. I know they have replacement terminals, but do they have ones that will accept both cables into one terminal? Champion makes a replacement. Pep Boys stock them for around $80. Still a lot of dough, but a few bucks less than Ford.

Visit you local welding supply house and have then make up some cables for you using welding cable. This is way cheaper than Ford's fix plus it flows juice much better. When our cables eventually die that what I'll be doing
