Door won't open

Door won't open
A little background first-The driver door on my 2000 Ford Explorer was sticking occassionally over the past 2 weeks or so. I lubed up the latch pretty good and it was opening fine, but you could feel that that something still wanted to stick. Over the weekend whatever that resistance was went away and it opened and closed fine. This morning, I leave for work, opens fine, I get to the gym, opens fine, get to work-tham door won't open from the inside. Had to climb over the passenger seat to go into my office. I ended up pulling the handle all the way out of the door panel (but not off) because there was no more resistance.
At this point I tried to open it from the outside and it is "sticking". If I bump it shut with my hip, it usually opens all the way the next time.
Any ideas???? I don't want to spend the rest of my cars life pullin a Dukes of Hazzard and climbing in and out a window.

Might be latch alignment. I've had success with this by loosening the striker to where it will move but not easily and then shutting the door, then re-opening it. Where the latch ends up is where I crank it down. Err on the side of being a little tight with the striker though. If it's too loose, it will really screw up your day, because the door won't open up at all.
