4 Thread Head fix

I see the TSB Says too change out the head casting too the 10 thread casting's but i dont want to tear it down too fix it. im thinking steel inserts. I've had great luck with them in the past. And yes the plugs where changed about 15-20k ago and was torgued properly.

Anyone done this before.

Its a said day for my super duty.

The cheap way to fix them after they pop is a timecert or similar kit but you would still be threading in to the same 4 threads in the heads, not sure if you'd gain anything or not.

It looks as if i can us a long insert. but not sure till i try . I have a large selection of them, and even the ones i've done in boosted motors seem too hold up rather well.

i just dont want too tear it down.
