Performance Chip question

I am wondering if anyone knows if a performance chip is avaiable for a 87 F-150 with a 4.9L EFI?

Performance Chip question

Travis: Sorry, but a 1987 F150 does not have a port to plug a chip into. Ford began using diagnostic ports on the F150 in 1988. The '87 uses basically the same computer as the later models, only the pre 88's lack the port.
Thanks
Danny

Performance Chip question

LAST EDITED ON 19-Nov-00 AT 09:47 AM (EST) by webmaster (admin)[p]I, likewise, am showing no reputable manufacturer for a chip for your vehicle. Providing your engine is gasoline powered you may want to consider looking into JACOBS ELECTRONICS ignition which will do essentially what a chip does. Further, My latest SUPERCHIPS DEALER catalog is showing a similar product by them called the "ICON".
