D - computer chips and ford focus

I know this is a truck site but we have some one who knows all about computers.

I'm going to get a focus ZX3 5-speed Ztec engine and am wondering what king of gains I could get wth a chip and can I still run cheap gas [85 octane here in denver].

thanks

The Superchips listings for the Focus are:

Focus 2.0L +10HP +13ft/lb
Focus 2.0L (Ztec) +13HP +15ft/lb

FTE can sell you a Superchip for most Fords, 1987 and newer, including the Focus. You can't run 85 octane with a Superchip.

PM: I kind of have a special interest in the Focus. I own a ZX3. As of now, we can run 15.1 second quarters at 93mph. The Supercharger should arrive about early February. We expect about 245-270hp after the blower and a custom chip. We will write a custom program for the blower. We are looking to get into the mid thirteens!!!!
As for your car: we really should write a program for high altitude. You are in Denver, right. We have had excellent success in advancing the timing even more for high altitude. Feel free to give me a call for a list of mods for the Focus. I have shopped them all, dynoed most, and weeded them down to the true horsepower producers. You would really be suprised.
The chip will normally drop about .3-.4 seconds off of the quarter mile times. The chip raises the rev limiter to 7100 from the stock of 6300-6400. It also removes the speed limiter. Feel free to give me a call at 1-877-399-6417. Remind me that you saw it on Ford-Truck Online. I hope Ken doesn't mind us swapping ideas on the site. He sells the chips here at the online store.
Thanks
Danny
