Chip with TransCommand

Reading the posts below I see that performance chips raise the transmission pressure by 20%. That is essentially what my Banks TransCommand does I understand. So here is the question, if I want a chip do I need to take out the TransCommand so I do not get 40% pressure build? Will the Transcommand just be useless so I should take it out and try to sell it? thanks for any advice.

Chip with TransCommand

You can do it either way. The chip can be programmed to remove the tranny adjustments or you can remove the trans-commander and install the stock chip. It is not advisable to install both, too much tranny pressure, ruptured lines, busted seals, terrribly hard shifts, not good!!!
Thanks
Danny

Thanks D. I think I will wait on a chip until I put my new motor in (old one has 200k on it).
