Ceramics - Si3N4- anyone use, know who carries?

Howdy Folks;

trying to get some information about Silicon Nitride- ceramic

i briefly chatted a guy with a Dodge Cummins 4x4 who mentioned he had ceramic valve guides - did get to talk much about them

started me thinging as i have a few Turbo Diesels and will like to turbo my navistar 7.3 someday - So - anyone know much about ceramics in the automotive sector - so far I can only see that Kyocera offers automotive - valve's etc ... but have yet to get some info from them

if you can share anything - please to ...

Cheers:

Get in touch with Jeremy or Matt at www.lidiesel.com about ceramic coatings. I know they are starting to do lots in the way of ceramic coatings on exhausts and turbo's because of the increased efficiency. They are also a site sponsor-- Long Island Performance Diesel.
