Hey, I have a 2001 Ranger Edge 4.0L 4x4, and I'm wondering if someone will tell me the benefits of having a chip. Is it worth the money? How hard is it to install? I would appreciate any input on the subject. My friend is thinking about getting a diablo chip for his mustang, and he suggested that i get one for my truck. Thanks

 

A chip will gain 21 hp and 30 ft/lb torque. The chip will raise the rev limiter and remove the speed limiter. You will need to use premium fuel after chip installation. Your fuel mileage will not change.
