Danny, I've heard you are the man to talk to when it comes to computer chips. I, as everyone else, need you help on finding the right chip, Diablo or Superchips, for my 2001 F-250 V10. I like the idea of taking off the speed limiter and to be able to customize the chip. Also do you know of anyone installing a chip in the 2001 V10 model, or if the is even a chip for it yet? Any help will be appreciated...also my brother is getting a 2001 Lightning and would like to know the pro's and con's between getting the Diablo or Superchips brand chip...:-)

 

Let me know what your ecu code is and I can tell you which company has the program for your V-10. As for your brothers Lightning, have him go to http://www.diablosport.com
and click on the Lightning Dyno Runs and he can decide. Have him note that the (RWHP) Rear Wheel Horsepower on a STOCK Lightning after a Diablo was 380+. You both order the chips here at the online site. Be sure to put the ecu codes on the form. Yours will be on the front of the drivers door, betwqeen the hinges. It will be something like HYT7 JUT8 or similar. His will be on the front of the passenger door. Same configuration, CUX1 or similar.

Jason: Neither Diablo nor Superchips has a program for the UNI0.
