YEA, but just think on the MODS that will follow for the 4.4 .....diesel Dual exhaust, programers, cold air intake, inter-coolers........I think I'm getting a little excited.

the problem is, the 5.3 isn't the top motor in the chevy 1/2 ton trucks anymore... that's not what the 5.4 has to compete against. it has to go against the 6.0L 367hp/375tq motor...
The 5.4 has to make do for less than 6 months, that's it. The Boss will shame then GM 6.0L/6.2L.
With the price of fuel I have been re-thinking my options and may stay with the 5.4 with a 6sp. tranny if they have addressed the plug issue at all, I am afraid the boss will be pretty thirsty??
