Well it happend soon as I get one thig fixed another goes bad.I have a crew 5.4 superduty and the exhaust manifold bolts are broken off. What size are the studs the dealership wants 8.00 bucks a piece my local autozone has a asortment of sizes the just need to no the size thread pitch ect............so , can someonme can help a brother out???????????????????????????????????????

 

The Ford studs are redesigned copper coated stainless steel. You will not get this quality at Autozone. Try to get a deal on the Ford parts.

 

I would really like to get the ford studs but the seem to know nothing about the redeisign copper ss studs and you have to buy them in 4s they quoted me something like 299 just in parts to do both sides this just sounds pretty steep!

 

I just put in new Stainless Steel (316) bolts.

 

Call ARP id imagine they offer a qulity bolt and for a good price.

Those things are a pain to remove! I do a lot of work myself but called a local small garage that specializes in mufflers. Replace the broken studs on one side for $120. Was a pretty good deal. I bought OEM studs for the two in the back that were busted and he put in a few NAPA bolts to replace a couple others that were boogered.
