tail light condensation

does anyone have problems with water building up in the rear tail lights? i have had it in a few times with no fix. now ford have covered the old vent holes and drilled new ones...pretty lame

Yes, I have the same problem, both the read and front turn signal covers. Have you found a fix?

Those are supposed to be sealed units. Request to have them replaced.

tail light condensation

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-May-02 AT 01:03 PM (EST)]I had water in one of my Stock Foglights on my Xped. I think the lights are just sealed poorly (more cost effective i guess). I removed the foglight, drained the water, then put a bead of Hot Glue around the seal. I did this a few months ago, and haven't seen any condensation as of yet. Im sure there are better things you can use, but the hot glue was readily accessible at the time. Hope this helps.

tail light condensation

Go to www.alldata.com its free. I preety sure there was a tsb (techinal service bulletin) on the tailights getting moisture in them.
