MP# Player Question

My Expy has the input for the mp3 player and works fine. However when talking to some buddies here at work, they mentioned having their radios control the mp3 player. Any idea if this can be done with the radios in the Expy and what is needed? And I do have the satellite radio.

I took a quick peak and I didn't see anything for the Expy. Of course I'm no expert by any means and there may be something out there. I also have a Honda Ridgeline. Honda sells a factory kit that runs a cable into the glove box. You can plug your ipod into the cable and control it through the factory radio controls. There are a number of aftermarket kits also available for the Ridgeline (For example: http://www.mp3yourcar.com/product_in...oducts_id=1055). I'm guessing that is because the Honda radio is already set up to accept such a kit. I know other auto manufactures have similar set ups and that after market kits exist for them as well.

I don't so much mind not being able to control the ipod via the factory radio in the Ford as much as I mind having to run one cable for the sound input and one cable (from the power outlet) to charge it (when needed). The other solution with one cable is much cleaner.

That is what I am looking for, just not at that price. I think I will just use the Ipod controls. Thanks.
