You can leave the entire drivetrain in place when you pull the tub. Just have to disconnect everything between the frame and the body. And also remove things like the transfer case shift that protrude through the body
Remove the doors, fenders, grille, hood, tailgate, and anything else that is attached to the body. You need to build some supports to go between the front and rear door posts as the tub will try to collapse when you lift it.
