I got a qoute for a 07 Eddie Bauer with the convenience package and luggage rack for MSRP $37,185, Internet Discount(whatever that means) $34,697, less $2000 cash back. $32,697. Does this seem reasonable?
check edmunds.com tmv (true market value) it takes into consideration your zip, you can almost walk in and tell the dealer thats what your paying without haggling, you have left out some very important expensive details for example is it 4wd, el and so on.
They are typically going for $7000 to $8000 off msrp down here in Houston. X-plan price and $3000 rebate is ~$7k off msrp. So I would say, no that is NOT a good deal.

The rebates here in S. Cal are only $2k. That was the best price out of 7 dealers by $1,000. I wish I had seen the list of rebates that the salesmen showed me before I bought. I saw a few with $750 off if you have a certain magazine subscription(had to have it 2 months) etc.
thats reasonable, you can probably get it a little lower. I have an 07 eddie bauer charcoal interior, convenience package, auto liftgate, daytime running lights, luggage rack with crossbars, and sirius satalite and i paid around 32,500 plus tt&l and that was when there was a 2000 rebate instead of 3000.
