Hi guys,
I just bought an 05 Edge with the 60/40 seats and it's missing the cup-holder that fastens to the front of the seat in the centre. Not really a big deal, but this truck doen't have the map pockets in the doors so storage is at a premium and I would like to put the cup-holder back in. I can get one from my dealer for about $60.00 (ouch!) but they want $15.00!!! for each bolt. If I knew exactly what size, length and head the bolts had, I could probably get them from my local Fastenal store for $.50 or so. Can anybody help? Does anybody have a cup-holder they want to sell cheap?

 

I understand what you are saying. My 03 had the map pockets and my 06 does not. I dont understand why Ford did away with them. If your truck did not come with the correct number of cupholders I would ask you dealership for them. If you tell them that you didnt realize it was missing them until recently they may give them to you if they want your future business. If not then check you local junk yards for a totalled Ranger.

 

Maybe ebay would have something=)

 

I've been through the same situation at the dealer with U bolts. When the fella told me 35 apeice, I choked, at which point, he looked around like making sure nobody was looking and handed me a card for the suspension shop that they buy them from. 13 bucks each.

Ask the person at the counter if the diagram or part description shows the demensions of the bolts.

No, I went through all the on-screen diagrams with the parts guy, no dimensions, it just says "bolts" and a part #. I need someone out there with one of these things on their truck to remove one of the bolts and measure it for me. Nothing on ebay and nothing at the wreckers.
