Keep Things Going

Ok, all you Maryland Ford truckers: You guys and gals (are there any). Keep things going while I'm gone this summer. Am leaving Monday AM in the F250 hooked to the Prowler and the wife and 2 of the grandsons for 6 weeks of camping to the west coast (Nashville-Branson-San Antonio-San Diego-Seattle-British Columbia and whichever way back east to reach home by July 20th.

Keep this site open and if I hit a campground with WiFi, I'll check in. Ya'll have a fine summer - I know I will. Got season tickets to the 18 Six Flags parks all over USA. Byeeeeeee

Well, we've made it to San Antonio okay. 100 plus degrees tho...phew! we got to Six Flags tomorrow. Sure hope it's a little cooler. Only problem so far is the turbo hose blew off first day out. Good thing I brought tools. Reinstalled, ok. Took it in to Ford dealer in Arlington, TX and they replaced a VGT (turbo) sensor. Warranty! Will check in later!

It was cooler today okay!! Massive T-Storms most of day.... went in to San Antone, but couldn't do anything. All the steets were flooded! Just glad I had the truck. Had to stop for diesel fuel and got drenched just putting the hose in the tank.....it would not have done me any good to wait a little while either...continued for an hour at the downpour rate...TV said 3 in. per hour. Will try again tomorrow - Alamo/Riverwalk in AM , Six Flags in PM.

Glad the trip has been uneventful up to now. hehehe

Now give us some important details like MPG, how the GPS is working, etc, etc, etc.

After all, what do you think we paid you for? hahaha

Too many pics to post....MPG sucks!! Fuel is WAY too expensive (saw 3.49.9 today.)
The Garman 360 is GREAT!! We can find EVERYTHING!!! Saw Grand Canyon today...6 hours of walking!! It was just ...WOW!! Everyone HAS to go see this for real!! \Was in Painted Desert/Petrified Forest yesterday, again a requirement to see in this United States!! More later! San Diego tomorrow...LATE!
