I found a replacement boot kit that looks like it's made out of marine exhaust tube. Have anyone seen or tried useing it ? Any help would be great. Im new to the Ford diesel world and Im LOVING it !!!! And the look on my 2 Yr old son's face, when i start it up, is awsome!

 

i have heard about this before. But not positive somone with more experiance will soon be here to help you out. But i do have about 4.5 feet from doing the exhaust on my boat and was thinking about using it for the truck if needed.

 

if you got the hose to fit your turbo and IC..(i think its 3")yes you can use that..

It's great and a heck of a lot cheaper than commercial boots. Don't buy a kit just buy some 3" marine grade exhaust hose. It is much thicker than the regular boots. Won't fit the tube to intercooler connections though. They are different od's. I used the hose on my four Y pipe connectors.
