A custom grind cam will take the guess work out of selecting which cam will work best for your combo.

Fellas, lets keep the thread on topic. There is no harn in suggesting another section with a topic such as this; cam selection topics get brought up quite frequently in the small block section.

Flareside: I've never been to a FFW event but I would like to some time.

I have been around a long time and have a lot of good rep comments, I will stand on my record against that of a couple of know nothing newbies that have no clue how the forums are organized or work, -much less anything about how trucks actually work.

We try to get people to the places that give them the best information. Sorry you un-gentlemen have no idea how the FTE forum is structured or works.

Wow, I didn't realize everyone had to be know-it-alls to belong to this forum.......and how does me stating my OPINION automatically make me a know nothing?I may not know nearly as much of some people on here and I'm glad to learn...hell, that's why I joined this damn thing. Is that a problem or are you just getting cocky to feel all high-n-mighty?I think you're the latter.Let me tell ya......I don't call "try going to the such-n-such forum" a whole boatload of useful information....seeing as how these posts obviously get thrown onto the NEW POST sections.......how is it that it matters worth a damn?I usually scan through the new ones and read em...and I'm sure I'm not the only one...guess they're all know nothings as well huh?If people read it anyways because of the primary placement of the thread (new posts) then how is it better at all to send the person to another forum?Double posting sucks and makes you "wade through useless crap".......You're just one idiot trying to feel superior by pissing "newbies" off.......sorry if I'm not as intelligent as you are.....if everyone on this forum were like you...it might persuade me to live in spite and buy another brand...but I won't, because you're just one desk jockey of many........

what a couple know nothing noobs...

torque was simply trying to point you to a forum that better pertains to your question!!! you are asking about cam grinds for a 351w...why not go to the 351w forum where people who understand and are experienced in the 351w engine reside???

did you not read what blurry said? why not flame him? he suggested that forum also....

torque has never come off to me as a cry baby or a know it all, he actually has anwsered many of my questions and helped me in my quest for knowledge quite a bit....

not everyone goes to the new post section...i personally never have...

you 2 are talkin out of ur a$$, all he was trying to do was help...

your "opinion" was publicly displayed...and i find your "opinion" to be quite provoking...

I understand full well that torque can handle himself, but being a member of this forum saw it fit to speak.

jus my .02

Nick~

On the topic, You will need to provide a bit more information on the build to get to the answer. This cam is not what I would run in a toy. 112 centers for one. But there are many factors at play which might make this your best choice. Definitely check with the 351W forum and be prepared to give some build details. CR(actual), carb'd or FI, head work intended, intake, headers, truck gearing and some scenarios of how you will be using it. low/high range, gearing. Running in low range might not require a grunt motor.
