He did promise me that he would take off all bowtie stuff and replace it with appropriate blue oval bling.

It wouldn't be fun if it were easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

Hey guys;
Instead of running all over the neighborhood in KC. If someone is good with a computer and can type, you might send a kite to the C of C in KC, tell them what area of the city the track is in and what we are planning to do and they will or should send you all kinds of info about eating, sleeping, partying etc that you request.
It will be cheaper and will probably contain site maps that we just copy and pass out to the guys who send in their entry money. That kind of info could be part of a package that is sent out.
Just a few thoughts from an old dog.
I hate to do any more work or travel than necessary and the chamber is usually glad to give out the info and to help all they can.

I was wondering the same thing, so I emailed him. He's hanging in there, just not of a mind to post lately. Right now his wife is his primary focus.

He might be lurking, but I'm sure an email would be appreciated. Send me an email if you need his addy.

To keep this post FE related: Carl and I didn't mention FEs in our correspondence, but I'm happy to say he's still able to putz around.

Oh, I'll be there in '09. The old truck may still look a little rusty and primered, but it'll be there. I'd love to have it all painted up and purty lookin' by then, though.
