Hey...finally got around to checkin' in here. Sounds like a pretty cool idea for sure.

As for what vehicle I bring is all up to yu'all. All three fit in the trailer LOL! (well only one at a time though).

My only issue is how far I can make it in the ol B model LOL!! Running 3-4 states away will be quite a trip(and the way fuel prices are I don't see much chance in me making it, unfortunately). Maybe if someone hits the lottery?

I really dont think the guys that have 12 to 15 to 25K in there FE motors alone..want to run them in the Mud? IF they want too ..Please speak up and let me know!!! So far you are the only one...

And as in all ..Majority rules....thats just how it is.. I would have liked to have gone to Windy Hollow..but its another 500 miles out of the way and only a 1/8 mile track.. But it does have a river to play in!! LOL..

Well I agree KC is a nice central spot. I find it hard to believe that I am the only one that likes playing in the mud?? But thats fine, it was just an idea for a little more entertainment.

I have not spent a great deal of time in KC but from what I hear, it is a fun city. And they do have "Worlds of Fun" and "Oceans of Fun" amusment parks. They also have some casinios.

I've spent a lot of time in KC, and it's a great city. Lots to do. Lot of bars and clubs in Westport, lots of shopping for the ladies in the Plaza. Anyone know what part of town the track is located?

Well Guys and Gals, KCIR Got back to me today... and there going to send a price package to me at work.. I had to belong to a Corporate before they would send out any info..

So I called My Boss and he said not a problem as long as Corporate wasnt billed for any of my doings!! LOL..

Well the short story is.. they will make time for us in spring of 09 "IF" thats when the poll says they would like it to happen? Now onto price!

Track time for 8 hrs a day $2,750 Plus $500 for the Ambulance service "Required" They are a NHRA Track and like to use there own tech inspection... But if we want to hire our own..we can..but no reduction in price..

This will include a full staff at the track, to include the safety safari, water/bleach block boys, Starter, and a guy hanging on the Mic up in the tower doing the play by play...Or we can have our own.. No reduction there again for one of us to do the job!

They get full reciepts from all concessions...We get all entry fee's if we choose to charge them, and parking, and pit pass Monies..and all spectator monies..

And If Robert design's and made up T-Shirts..and poster's and we sold them..we would have to do so in the pit area away from any track concessions...Or the Track would get a cut of those sales also...

I'll write more on this when the perspective Track Package comes in....

This is just an update to let you guys know what it cost to rent a big track for a weekend....

I'll write more later....

Dang Russ that price tag aint bad at all really between 12 folks thats 270 each. 24 people wanna play 135 a head etc.. this looks pretty doable.. hell it might turn out the track cost is only 1/8 of the cost of gas to get there if three of us want to play LMAO!!!

I am still looking for Hi Res images folks.. surely someone has some links, archives, etc... option B is I start heading out to local meets to photograph local rides... which is an option... Hell I'm 2 miles from Beach Blvd in Hunt Beach CA meet central on Sat/Sun .... might even meet some local FE folks hmmmm I'm down man "for 09" "even if I have to bring a lil red wagon and tie a string to one of you fkrs bumbers" LOL

Well there is the day to race, the night to converse, drink, just enjoy ourselves in general at some waterhole/resturaunt somewhere.. then if there is a local lake maybe we could set up a mini fishing derby with a boat rental shop ? Hell we got plenty time to plan this into something memorable.. Think Guys Think!!! Input is all thats needed for a while then some follow through,..

Surely we can get more than 20 or 30 FE types to show up in Kansas City. Anyone know what part of town the track's located? We should think about finding a discount at some hotel where they have a big enough parking lot to hold other festivities like a show n shine. Might even consider a poker run. I have some good friends up in KC that might steer us toward good lodging and a nice area to stay. I will definitely be there, even if I have to drive my BMW or the wife's Mustang. If we don't have anyone on this board from the KC area, I will do what I can to get information.

Alright, thanks! That'll be a little closer coming from Texas. In fact, I think I've been to Lees Summit. I'll be trying to find some good hotels in that area.

Just wanted to get this thing back to the top. Dont want this thing to get dropped. This could be way to good of a thing. Nothing like a bunch of FE's all in one place.
