Exclamation 2001 Supercrew 5.4 Problem - MISS - HELP!!!!!!

I found the issue, there was break in the back fuel injector wire, I went to the junkard and found plug that was the same. $10 fix! BUT WAIT! The miss is gone, Started the truck up, And now theres a knocking noise coming from the driver side around the egr valve somewhere, I thought it could be the Egr Valve and its not I tested that. So I just unhooked the plug from the EGR and I am driving it like that for now. Any help for my bad luck!? TPS? IAC? Anything? Thank you guys for the help!

Hello Everyone,

So I bought a 2001 Supercrew Lariat and had it for about two weeks now. It recentley started misses around 2000rmp and up. I have tried just about everything what a pain. And of course NO code came up. Heres what I tried to far

1. Replaced all (8) Coil Packs

2. Replaced all Plugs and torqued to factory specs

3. Changed the fuel filter.

and still same freakin problem. I was reading on the internet about PCV valves and IAC valves possibly as the culprit. Also injectors maybe? Any help would be greatly appriacted. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

you need to drive it and play with the throttle and eventually get a code... anything else is just a guess... COPS was a good choice for a guess.

Back when I was having frequent coil failures, I could sometimes force it to generate a code by holding the brake in drive and getting the rpm up until it started to miss badly.
