Talking I'm buying a 2002 Thurs!

I'm new to the forum but have been reading up on mods, maintenance and other little things over the past month. My previous vechile was a 98 Mustang Cobra that I sold to buy a Truck. Its been close to a month of looking for the right F250 and I found a perfect one to buy Mon. The truck is a 1 owner and I know the person who is selling it. Here are the stats that I know so far.
Black Ford F250 Diesel 4x4 CrewCab Lariat w/95k miles for $21k. Everything is completely stock except for a perfomance chip that I'm not sure what is is yet.

Owner is going to pay to have a 100k mile Tune-up done at the dealer when I buy it. Does anyone know what they change, replace etc. at Dealership for a Diesel with 100kmiles Tune-up?

No, but they'll give you a rip sheet with everything they did. When I bought my 2002 from the dealer, there were a couple things I wanted fixed and they did that along with going through the whole thing. There was a post a day or two ago that laid out a list of things for the 100k "tune up", which is really just a list of scheduled maintenance items:

I got to drive to truck Monday. First time to drive a diesel, all I can say is WOW it is a totally differnt world coming from driving mustangs for the last 3yrs. It has a chip in it but I have no clue what it is yet and what tunes are on it. It has a camper top on it that im goinng to sell if anyone near me wants for a good price let me know and I will find out what brand it is. Its black and I believe is a Leer brand, owner said it was $1600 New.

congrats..!!! i know you will love your 02 as much as i love mine... you will need to do some things to make your mule a little more solid... no big deal.. and if you think you are impressed now, wait until you actually get to pull a load..!!!

Before you buy it don't forget to check the oil pan for corrosion/rust. If it's rotted or rusted badly you could end up spending $1500 to $2000 on replacing the oil pan and not on guages, exhaust, intake, chip, etc.
