Just to add, there's a 48-60 forum also, and has a classifieds there, too. And someone was/is looking for a window for a '57.

Woops! I got tied up recently and should have been checking my messages better. Sure I'm always interested in truck parts but will likely always advise fellow FTE brothers to try these classified adds forst to give other forum users a chance first. There's always another truck to buy around here so it's all good. Be cool, have fun, and see you on here! Mike.

Mike,
Glad to meet you...... Maybe you can help me. I have two problems,

1. My tach when at idle works properly, but while moving, the needle eiher spins wildly or points straight down.
2. Neither fuel tank reads correctly. The previous owner had the switch in the dash replaced but with no change

Do you have any suggestions?

Hey Russ, the pleasure is all mine.

I'm afraid I have no tach for the truck at this time. BUt I'm filling up with these year trucks faster than any other body type so something might come in soon. Sounds like you need a new gauge but only a guess on my part. I'm thinking the needle is not working right or slipping when at speed? ANyone else know what is wrong with it, chime in or PM Russ.

The fuel gauges are a pain. BUt now that I think about it all the gauge problems might be related. Some sort of voltage or amperage trouble in the instrument cluster? I'll keep an eye out for a good cluster with tach for your year truck. You might try Flebay as well. I hate going on there due to polar opposite politics with ebay but sometimes you got to do what you got to do!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for your parts, Mike.

Hello everybody! We have our new web site up and running! Payments & Refunds : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

There are still a few bugs for me to work out in the online shopping and shipping departments and I have a lot of work to do loading in all the truck parts around here!!!

So stop in and check us out and let us know of any suggestions or anything we missed that you would like to see on Mike's Truck Salvage.

You can still call or email us anytime to ask questions, purchase parts, or just talk Ford trucks and as soon as we start up the shipping and buying part of the web site, you will be able to log in and buy strait from the site as well!

As always, I look forward to helping with everyone's Ford truck projects! Mike.
