LT275/70R18 tires on 2008

So who but their 2008 with the LT275/70R18 tires and was dissapointed to see the Contiental tires? I sure was. The A/T tires I paid extra for are not nearly as agressive as the BF GOODRICH tires that came on my 2003 F250. I have looked at a lot of tire company and found only a few that make good A/T tires in this size. I kind of like these http://www.coopertire.com/html/products/tires_suv.aspx?page=discoverer_st&search=bySize&tw td=275&artw=70&rd=18

http://www.coopertire.com/html/produ...&artw=70&rd=18

If anyone knows of other Tires of this size please post them here.

i too was disappointed with the same tires, since the 20" tires are goodyear silent armor all terrains. i looked up the tires on continental site, are technically onroad and offroad tires. i did not figure if i coplained i would get anywhere. I will probably get the goodyears later on. i had them on my 2003 f250 6.0l. was a solid tire, they are a heavier tire also. slightly lowered fuel milage. 1800 miles trouble free. love the new 08. Just washed it back like new.

The Conti A/T's being not much of an A/T is not new news -- we ordered a PSD with them back in '05 and I bitched when I saw 'em -- dealer was willing to trade them with anything on the lot. Unfortunately the whole deal ended up falling thru. When we ordered our '07 and found Conti to still be the supplier for the 18s, we just went with the stock A/S tires and then upgraded to what's in my sig.

Hopefully Ford will contract with someone else one day soon, as pretty much everyone that pays the extra for Conti A/Ts has a valid complaint, IMO....

I put a set of BFG 35x12.5x18 MT on mine without having to put in any lift.

I really like the cooper Discoverer STT. They really look agressive and should help give the truck a more pissed off look. I am not sure why my link about isn't working right. But that was one of them.
