what cam will have more lope 270h

Hemi, I think DD is WAY off on that one. The HO puts out 300 ft/lbs with the little HO cam and the same heads. He should be seeing around 275hp/310ish TQ with that setup with an RPM manifold (dont waste your time with the performer)
and 650, even though a 600 is really a better choice to retain some of the torque, you wont max out a 600 with stock heads anyway.
Rob, keep in mind that youll probably gain 10hp and another 500 RPM from better valve springs due to valve float on the stock springs. The stock springs on E7's are barely enough for the HO cam let alone the 270. When I put the 270 in, I already had aftermarket springs.

i installed the e7 heads the 270h cam springs and rhodes lifters. and this cam has no lope at all plenty of low end power great top end it pulls to 6k .its just a little hard to start after i shut it off its like rrrrr rrrr . then it starts then when i shut it off it just stops like its very tight .when i down shift to first the back tires start to break loose and it just goes. cant wait to get the 3000 stall converter . i was hoping for some lope tho maby i have to richen the idle mixture a bit .

those lifter will take some of the duration out of the cam at idle, thats why they produce more low end torque....
....I thought about this at work today and here you are wondering where that crazy lobe is...I knew you would say something about it....I never gave it a thought until today about those lifters......
so how do you like it now?
I think you might have the timing a little to far advanced..pull it back a little and try that. also make sure you have good connections at the starter, battery, and grounds. After you try and start it run around and feel all the connections if you find a hot one ...well there you go....
