Transmission Power Take Provision

I just got a build list from Ford on my 2000 diesel with 6-speed manual. I notice one of the options is a 'Transmission Power Take Provision'. Is that another term for power take off (PTO)?

I'm wondering what in the world I would ever use it for. I don't need a legitimate need. Just a cool idea. Maybe a powered winch to pull my car on the trailer?

I think all the manual trannys have them. But not sure. I am waiting on my build sheet from Ford too.

I figured it was for a dump body or something?
