changing heads from d2te to edelbrock rpm

what will happen with the compression ratio by changing from my current stock d2te heads to edelbrock performer rpm 72cc heads on my 390. What kind of power gains can I expect and what other info might be useful in doing this swap

Thanks

the Q is what cc are your ole D2 heads (have they been milled?)? As for performance with the ED Heads out of the box might be a little better. Get them ported and you will notice a world of difference. Make sure you got a good intake to go with it! JMO

Have the Ed heads milled about .020 and you won't see much of a drop in compression. There's only a nominal 4 cc difference here. (68-72 vs 72)
