hey all... just wondering what everyone is doing this weekend. i get off work at 7am sat morning and just lookin to see what i can get into. i'm going to durham that day and nissandoc is going to fix my floorpan for me, but other then that wanted to see what everyone is doing.

yep, me and a couple of guys I play music with decided to try our luck this weekend, but I'll be home sunday evening. the boat hasn't been run but twice since last october. so I hope it all works out. oh yeah we're going to Merril's inlet. the boat is at Harbor gate marina at north myrtle beach so we'll have a little trip down the intercoastal waterway . the good part I'm probably bringing her home with me sunday.

wish i could get out on the lake, sound, ocean, creek, river lol. but i have no boat and i have to work on my 4x4 and get the steering shaft in it and see if them 38.5's are gonna rub.

 

yea i think my saturday will consist of more cleaning of this dirty *** truck, and wash/wax the grand prix. can't wait till payday so i can rebuild starter, fix brakes and start workin on th ebed

 

well this weekend i got the steering shaft in, put her in 4wl, 4wh to let the gear oil circulate. Found out that my nice chrome push bar wouldnt fit on the truck..Also found out that somehow my pit **** was left open and drained all the fluid out in the gas station parking lot. but thats fixed. So now i have to take my 4x4 to the muffler place and get my 1 chambers welded on. Then find someone that can spray my truck kinda cheap around here.

 

where ya from? I used to know a guy that sprayed pretty cheap. I can do it but i dont have the tools or the place which sucks.

 

im from burlington. I had a couple of guys but they are booked up till later this year. All i want is a semi gloss black primer for now.

 

you got a place to do it? if you have a garage or the land i'd say just build yourself a cage from 2x4's and plastic cloth and spray it yourself... its not hard as long as you put the time into the prep work. i'm hoping after i move within the year that i'll be able to do this, or maybe i'll be lucky and have a shop i can do it in. i'm gonna have to replace my floor pans but other then that and a little other body work i should be ok.
