Transport Vertical LPG tank horizontally

Ok, so the bottle says you're not supposed to transport a vertical tank on it's side.

Why? Is it really so bad? I sure want to.

Propane gas cylinders must be transported so the relief valve communicates with the vapor space inside of the tank. For that reason, you should never transport a cylinder lying on its side unless it's a cylinder designed for horizontal use. The pressure relief valve could becomes liquid full and the valve could fail to open, the container could rupture.

I agree with the transportation but it seems as thought you want to actually use it horz, right?

Really bad idea. You would end up drawing liquid not gas through the valve and into your regulator and bad things would happen.
