Please Help Need X PIN. 08 F250

have a friend that works at a Dodge dealership and he just about had me talked into a RAM 2500... before I commited to the Dodge I went by a Ford Dealership in town and sat in a 08 SD and..... WOW! that is a truck! No comparision at all. I am very excited but really need help with a X-plan pin. I have owned 4 new Fords over the years and would like to stay a Ford Man!

I hope someone has an x-plan pin for a 250SD? It will be in my grarge by Tuesday. Thanks in advance!

Matt

Exclamation How long is it good for?

Howdy Everyone,
I bought my truck back in March of this year. My buddy got me p.i.n. number for the X-plan price. About a week after getting the truck, I called the sales manager to make sure the p.i.n. was good and he told me it was. Now 6 months later, some lady from their finance dept. is calling me to say that the number is no good I remember reading that if these numbers are not used within a certain period of time they become void.....is this true? I think they did not enter the number within that time period,so that would make it their problem!...............right?????

Thanx,
Roach

They are good for a year. Something sounds wrong. Maybe your buddy canceled the pin. If you need a new one let me know.

Got this email from a friend today , he works for Ford.
So if you need a PIN.
jr

Just wanted to drop a line and let you know I am leading an effort at my home plant to get everyone (about 2000 people) to give away their X-Plan PINs. I already have another 8 available from one of the guys I work with. I will add more people as time goes. This means if you know anyone at all who wishes to get a great Deal on a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury you can send them to the following e-mail= Bill4Kath@aol.com This is the e-mail of Bill. He is expecting e-mails from people interested in X-Plan PINs. This is the same deal I have given you no strings attached, just the desire to see Ford gain ground. You can forward this e-mail to anyone you want and post on sites too. Anyone who contacts that e-mail address should make the subject heading read "X-PLAN PIN NUMBER!". This will let Bill know it is not spam from someone he does not know. As I said, I am making a grass roots effort to put X-Plan pricing in the hands of people who would not normally have access to a Ford worker. My goal is 4000 X-plans given away! With a few people spreading the word, we can do it!

Remember, have people send their Name and Full address to start the process, this will keep the back and forth e-mails to a minimum and make things quicker! Also, please only request a PIN if you plan to order or purchase from a dealer lot within a month of obtaining the PIN. This will help us keep track of how many PINs are left.

Thanks again for your interest and support of Ford products!

P.S.
My plan is to have each person give out a new e-mail of another employee each time they use all their numbers up,so the line will keep moving. I will still answer questions about once a week if needed through e-mail! Wish us luck!

I would love a x-plan pin for a 2008 escape hybrid! My inbox says its full but I have no way to empty it (mods, can you help a brother out?)

Generally, how close is the x-plan to invoice? Do dealers have the option to not accept the x-plan if its an in demand vehicle?

Thanks!

The dealers don't.

It doesn't apply to some vehicles though. The GT, and commercials (I am talking F450-F750 Chassis/Cab here). The GT500 might also be excluded I am not sure, but it is excluded by FORD, not by the dealers.
