Yes, they tell you that you need to wait, but 5 minutes after I signed up for online access, I went to the Ford partner area of the site, clicked the link and was able to generate a pin on the Ford partner site. VERY easy and yes, I was able to do it immediately.

Glad to do it. You will need two things when you go to the dealer. The printout of the X-Plan email you will get after generating the PIN. You will also need proof of EAA membership. Since you don't get your membership card for a couple weeks in a package with all the other membership documents, you can just print out something after your logged in showing your membership number along with your name. Then your good to go!
