Got a better deal than xplan at my dealership in Ontario Canada. Sadly the exploder got recycled and happily we have a 2012 escape. Now to rub it with a magic cloth to make it a 2012 edge or supercrew.

Hello,

Im about to buy a 2012 F250 6.2 ex cab 4x4. I went to the dealer and built a truck that came out to $37,085 MSRP. He told me the truck would cost me $31,250 using the $2000 factory rebate.

My question is: Would I get a better deal using the Xplan? I have an xplan pin ready to use. When I called and talked to the salesguy he said it would be more using the xplan?!?!?

Thanks in advance.

2012 F250 X-plan pin request

I'm headed 300 miles next Friday to go and purchase a 2012 F250. A pin would be more than greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If anyone has an X-Plan pin number I'd appreciate it. I used one to buy my '06 F150 SuperCrew and am hoping to get one to purchase a 2012 Explorer for my wife in the next week or so.

Thanks!

For those who haven't gotten an X-plan pin yet, try using TrueCar.com to price your new vehicle. I am about to order a new F-350 and got a price from a TrueCar certified dealer that appears to be over $3K below what I could get through X-plan. Since I haven't done the deal yet, I'm holding my X-plan pin in reserve in case things don't work out like I expected but I'll find that out on Saturday.

Not sure if anyone gets pins through this thread, but I thought I would give it a try. Trading my V10 as well as my wife's car towards a new 350 6.7. The new truck will be our tow vehicle for our rv as well as my wife's dd. Not sure if this helps, but she's a vet and has a baby on board.....

I just ordered a new F-350 and got a deal that was better than I would have gotten with X-Plan. The truck stickered for $45,345. X-Plan price was $42,582. Take away the $1K customer cash and it brings the price down to $41,582. The price I got through negotiation was $39,500. BTW, I was ordering a 6.2 so the customer cash was less than the rebates offered for the 6.7 models.

Well, I already have the deal in place for xplan pricing. The dealer won't do it without the pin so I need one...

At that time truck sales were in the toilet.

Someone else suggested that. I tried it last night and gave the operator a good chuckle. Anyways, I joined EAA this morning and got a pin so I'm good. Thanks for the thoughts though!

Hey so EAA gave it to you right away after joining? I thought it takes 30 days or so after joining. I was going to join last night because I need to purchase a new car since my car died on me two weeks ago. If anyone could please provide me with one I'd greatly appreciate it.
